A potent Trader Vic's creation, this tiki potion conjures a complex flavor profile from a blend of rums, citrus, and exotic spices, balanced with a touch of honey.

Ingredients

• 1 oz Light Rum
• 1 oz Dark Rum
• 0.75 oz Lime Juice
• 0.75 oz Grapefruit Juice
• 0.5 oz Honey Syrup
• 0.25 oz Falernum
• 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
• 0.25 tsp Absinthe
• 1 Mint Sprig (optional)

Method

1. Rinse a chilled tiki mug or double old fashioned glass with absinthe, discarding any excess.
2. Combine light rum, dark rum, lime juice, grapefruit juice, honey syrup, falernum, and Angostura bitters in a shaker with ice.
3. Shake well until thoroughly chilled.
4. Strain into the prepared glass filled with fresh crushed ice.
5. Garnish with a mint sprig.
