Ingredients

• 2 oz Rye Whiskey
• 0.25 oz Fernet-Branca
• 0.25 oz Simple Syrup
• 2 dash Angostura Bitters
• 1 Orange Peel (optional)

Method

1. Combine rye whiskey, Fernet-Branca, simple syrup, and Angostura Bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
2. Stir well until thoroughly chilled.
3. Strain into a chilled rocks glass over a large ice cube.
4. Express the oils from an orange peel over the drink and drop it in.
