Rye, Peychaud's bitters, sugar, and an absinthe rinse. New Orleans in a glass.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Rye Whiskey
- 3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
- 0.25 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 rinse Absinthe
Method
- Rinse chilled rocks glass with absinthe and discard
- Stir rye, bitters, and syrup with ice
- Strain into rinsed glass (no ice)
- Garnish with lemon peel, do not drop in
