The Oriental Cocktail is a rye whiskey-based drink with sweet vermouth, orange curaçao, and lime juice, typically served up.

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz Rye Whiskey
• 0.75 oz Sweet Vermouth
• 0.25 oz Orange Curaçao
• 0.25 oz Lime Juice
• 1 piece Lime Wheel (optional)

Method

1. Rinse a chilled coupe glass with absinthe, discarding any excess.
2. Combine rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, orange curaçao, and lime juice in a shaker with ice.
3. Shake well until thoroughly chilled.
4. Double strain into the prepared coupe glass.
5. Garnish with a lime wheel.
