Rye whiskey provides a spicy base, balanced by bitter Campari and dry vermouth. A robust, spirit-forward classic with a dry, herbaceous edge.

Ingredients

• 2 oz Rye whiskey
• 1 oz Campari
• 1 oz Dry Vermouth

Method

1. Chill cocktail glass
2. Add ingredients to a mixing glass, and fill 2/3 full with ice
3. Stir about 20 seconds
4. Empty cocktail glass and strain into the glass
5. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel
