New York Sour
Sour & Citrusy · rocks glass
A whiskey sour crowned with a float of red wine.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Rye whiskey
- 0.75 oz Lemon juice
- 0.75 oz Simple syrup
- 1 Egg white (optional)
- 0.5 oz Red wine
Method
- Dry-shake the whiskey, lemon, syrup and egg white
- Shake again with ice and strain over fresh ice
- Gently float red wine over the back of a spoon
