A robust, spirit-forward sour from the Prohibition era, combining bourbon with orange liqueur, sweet vermouth, and fresh lemon.

Ingredients

• 2 oz Bourbon
• 0.75 oz Triple Sec
• 0.5 oz Sweet Vermouth
• 0.75 oz Lemon Juice
• 1 Orange Peel (optional)

Method

1. Combine bourbon, triple sec, sweet vermouth, and lemon juice in a shaker with ice.
2. Shake until well-chilled.
3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
4. Garnish with an orange peel.
