A whiskey cocktail from the early 20th century, the Fourth Regiment combines rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, orange bitters, and celery bitters.

Ingredients

• 2 oz Rye Whiskey
• 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
• 2 dashes Orange Bitters
• 2 dashes Celery Bitters
• 1 piece Lemon Twist (optional)

Method

1. Combine Rye Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth, Orange Bitters, and Peychaud's Bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
2. Stir until well-chilled.
3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
4. Garnish with a lemon twist.
