An elegant pre-Prohibition gin cocktail, balancing dry vermouth with the herbal sweetness of Bénédictine and a bright dash of orange bitters.

Ingredients

• 2 oz Gin
• 0.75 oz Dry Vermouth
• 0.25 oz Bénédictine
• 2 dashes Orange Bitters
• 1 Lemon Twist (optional)

Method

1. Combine Gin, Dry Vermouth, Bénédictine, and Orange Bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
2. Stir until well-chilled.
3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
4. Garnish with a lemon twist.
