A simple yet elegant classic, featuring a sugar cube soaked in bitters, topped with brandy and effervescent champagne.
Ingredients
- 1 Sugar Cube
- 3 dash Angostura Bitters
- 0.5 oz Brandy
- 4 oz Chilled Champagne
- 1 Lemon Twist (optional)
Method
- Place a sugar cube in a chilled champagne flute.
- Dash the Angostura bitters onto the sugar cube.
- Add the brandy to the flute.
- Top slowly with chilled champagne.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
