An elegant pre-Prohibition classic, this gin-based cocktail balances the botanical notes of gin with the delicate sweetness of maraschino, bright lemon, and aromatic orange bitters.

Ingredients

• 2 oz Gin
• 0.25 oz Maraschino Liqueur
• 2 dashes Orange Bitters
• 0.5 oz Lemon Juice
• 1 Cherry (optional)

Method

1. Combine gin, maraschino liqueur, orange bitters, and lemon juice in a shaker with ice.
2. Shake well until thoroughly chilled.
3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
4. Garnish with a cherry.
