Ancient Mariner

A bold and complex tiki concoction from Donn Beach, combining two rums with grapefruit, lime, and the pungent spice of pimento dram.

Ingredients

• 1 oz Dark Jamaican Rum
• 1 oz Demerara Rum
• 0.75 oz Grapefruit Juice
• 0.5 oz Lime Juice
• 0.25 oz Pimento Dram
• 0.25 oz Simple Syrup
• 1 dash Angostura Bitters
• 1 Mint Sprig (optional)

Method

1. Combine both rums, grapefruit juice, lime juice, pimento dram, simple syrup, and Angostura Bitters in a shaker with ice.
2. Shake well until thoroughly chilled, about 15-20 seconds.
3. Strain into a collins glass filled with crushed ice.
4. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
